Brogdon, 47, of Marianna died Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Jackson Hospital. Janice was a native of Blakely, Georgia and has lived most of her life in Jackson County. She was a graduate of Chipola College and of the Baptist faith. Janice was preceded in death by her father, Charles Tobias. Survivors include her husband, Frank; two daughters, Ashley Michelle Brogdon of Grand Ridge and Katelyn Alyse Brogdon of Marianna; her mother, Eloise Tobias of Marianna; one step-son, William David Brogdon, of Kynesville; one step-daughter, Selena Brogdon of Charleston, S.C.; five grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May, 23, 2009 at Damascus Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Powell officiaitng. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
