Jane Day Burkhart

Jane Day Burkhart, 74, of Marianna died at her residents Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Born in Jackson County Mrs. Burkhart resided in several cities in Florida with her late husband, Florida Trooper, Burt Duane "B. D." Burkhart. She was a life long member of Marvin Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. "C.E." and Carlie Mae Gause Day, Sr.; two sisters, Dorothy White and Audrey Eiland. Survivors include: one daughter, Sandra Warren and husband Stuart of Marianna; four grandchildren, Amanda Warren-Gonzales and husband Jesse, Jessica Deniese Gibbs and husband Kevin, Camile Warren and Carlos Warren; three great grandchildren, Faith Gonzales, Gillian Gonzalez and Leland Gibbs; one brother, Charles E. Day, Jr. of Lake Havasu, Arizona; two sisters, Frances Walters of Marianna and Edith Cherry of Pine Level, North Carolina. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Marvin Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
