James Michael Smith, 61, of Marianna died Friday, April 22, 2016 in Marianna.
A native and lifelong resident of Marianna, Michael served in the U S Army, and he was a professional truck driver for more than twenty years.
Preceded in death by his mother, Emma Green Smith in 2004. Michael is survived by his father and step mother, James C. & Patricia Smith; son, James Daniel "Danny" Sergel; daughters, Stephanie Melvin and husband, Donnie,
Tabitha Barfield all of Marianna; one sister, Alisa Michelle Davis; six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 25, 2016, 2 p.m. at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Rev. Roland Rabon officiating. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m., one hour prior to the funeral at James & Sikes.
Private interment in Cypress Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
