James Christopher "Chris" Poulnot

James Christopher "Chris" Poulnot, 50, of Chattahoochee died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Jackson Hospital. Born in Ozark, Alabama, Chris was a resident of Dothan, AL and Lake City, Florida prior to moving to Chattahoochee were he was employed at Hillandale Farms. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Poulnot. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Poulnot of Chattahoochee; two sons, Christopher and Matthew Poulnot both of Lake City; step-son Ricky Burgess and wife Beth of Lakeland; one step-daughter, Danielle Sheets and husband Brett of Mt. Pleasant; his parents, Lt. Col. retired Jim Poulnot and wife Elizabeth; one sister, Pam Smith and husband Rick all of Dothan; four grandchildren. Service of Remembrance will be 2 pm Sunday, April 18, 2009 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Mr. Wood Farrington officiating. Memorization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements. "
