James Kinson "J.K." Peacock Ll

James Kinson (J.K.) Peacock, II, 87 of Sneads died Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Jackson Hospital. Mr. Peacock was born in the Alliance Commmunity of Jackson County. He served in the U S Navy, retired from the U S Army Corps of Engineers after 22 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Delores Peacock Sims. Survivors include two sons, Stan Peacock of Panama City, James Kinson Peacock lll of Sneads; one daughter, Nadine Peacock Standland and husband, Robert Earl of Marianna; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Maddox Chapel with Woody Bollinger officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery near Altha with full military honors given by Sneads American Legion Post 241 with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Saturday at Maddox Chapel
