James L. Peacock

James L. Peacock, Lt. Col. (Ret) age 89, of Marianna, died Sunday, January 31, 2010 in Marianna. Mr. Peacock was born in Ohio, and has lived in this area since his retirement from the U S Air Force in 1968. He attended First Presbyterian Church in Marianna. He is survived by one son, Jim Peacock of Panama City, FL.; two brothers, Roy "Bud" Peacock and wife, Eloise of Youngstown;Gene Peacock and wife, Leona of Marianna; one sister, Polly Purvis and husband, Gene of Marianna. Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 3. at 10 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Dr. Huw Christopher officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
