James R. Mills, Sr. 76, of Cottondale, Florida died July 10, 2023 at Jackson Hospital.
He was born September 12, 1946 to Roy Mills and Vera Noblin.
James was preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee Mills; mother, Vera Mae Mills; brother, Alfred Mills, J.T. Mills; sisters, Clotel Bratcher, Marie Wiggins; daughter, Thelma Darlene Mills.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Mills; children, James Mills, Jr., Stella Cotton (Michael); granddaughter, Citrina “CC” Cotton; sisters, Lorene Lipford, Elmira Lipford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 10 AM Monday, July 17, 2023 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Chaplain Gino Mayo officiating. Cremation will follow with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
