James Scott "Scotty" Mickel

James Scott "Scotty" Mickel, 24, of Greenwood died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Jackson Hospital. A native and life long resident of Jackson County, Scotty attended Malone School, was a avid sports fan, car and electronic bluff. A dedicated father who was proud of and loved his children. Survivors include his wife, Angel Mickel, three daughters, Hailey, Alexis and Jordan; his parents, John D. and Wanda Mickel all of Greenwood; one brother, John Dennis, Jr. of Mansfield, Ohio; Maternal grandmother, Linda Oliva of Greenwood; Paternal grandparents, Wesley and Katheryn Mickel of Greenwood. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Greenwood Baptist Church with Rev. Luther Pumphrey officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm Friday, July 30, 2010 at Maddox Chapel."
