James Tyler Fender, 19, of Tallahassee formerly of Marianna died Sunday, February 28, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Marianna on July 30, 1996, Tyler was a 2014 graduate of Lawton Chiles High School, At present he was attending Tallahassee Community College.
Tyler never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He was a very friendly and generous young man who has touched many lives during his 19 years of life. He leaves many friends to cherish his memories.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Zoe Grace Spooner and an uncle, Mike Robinson.
Survivors include his parents, Chris and Maria Fender of Tallahassee; Genethie and Brandt Spooner of Marianna; brothers and sisters, Hannaih Spooner, Andrew Fender, Kristen Fender, Olivia Spooner and Branden Spooner all of Marianna; Grandparents, Gerald Fender of Sneads, Dot and Dennis Wester of Chattahoochee, Carol Yon of Greenwood, Edwin Yon of Sneads, Jackie Bradley of Alford and Brenda Miller of Marianna; grandmother, Mavis Robinson of Sneads; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm, Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Evangel Worship Center with Revs. LaVon Pettis, Jonathon Thomas and John Wayne Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm
at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
