Box 595/5390 Cotton St. Graceville, FL 32440 850 263-3238 Isaac Monroe Horton, Jr., 52 of Dothan formerly of Graceville passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2008 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center following an extended illness. Isaac fondly known as "Bootsie" was born February 6, 1956 in Graceville to the late Isaac M. Horton, Sr. and Dorothy Smith Horton. A U. S. Army Veteran, Isaac was a Quality Control Manager with Anderson-Columbia in Dothan. He was affectionately known as "papa bear" to his grandchildren, who were the center of his heart. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Toole and a sister-in-law Deborah Horton. Survived by his wife Mary Lisa Horton of Dothan; four children Aleana and Darrell Freeman, Aaron and Samantha Horton, Shannon & Scott Green, Amy McCarthy; six grandchildren Johnathan Freeman, Amy Freeman, Steven Blakey, Alanna Horton, Jonathan Horton, Chloe Green; four brothers Earnest Horton, Tom and Teresa Horton, Elton and Louise Horton, David and Jean Horton; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Chester Padgett and Rev. Terry Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
