Irene Ruth (Deubert) Morgan

Irene Ruth (Deubert) Morgan passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the age of 84. She was born to Ferdinand and Lina (Werthwine) Deubert July 22, 1925 in Heilbron, Germany. The family came to America on September 7, 1927. Mrs. Morgan married Ted Morgan on November 21, 1943. She was a housewife and helpmate to her husband for 61 years until his death on January 12, 2005. Together they built and operated the Beaver Springs Campground in Davenport, NY until 1984 when they retired to Marianna, Fl. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted, a son, Wayne and two brothers. Survivors include her son, Roy Morgan and wife Rosemary of Marianna; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren plus three step-grandchildren and four great step-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Memorization will be by cremation with a graveside memorial service to be held at Sink Creek Cemetery at a later date with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing."
