James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 850.482.2332 850.526.4143 fax Ingram Grice, 75, of Sneads died Friday morning, December 18, 2009 at his home in Sneads surrounded by his loving wife. children, grandchildren & family. A native and life long resident of Jackson County, Mr. Grice retired from Florida State Hospital with 37 years of service and was the owner of Grice and Son Plumbing, Inc. He was noted to be an avid worker until November 11, before becoming too ill to continue. Mr. Grice loved each day he worked for the people of Jackson County and the surrounding area. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lula Powell Grice; four brothers, Obria, Beachum, Doyle, and Jimmy Grice; two sisters, Beatrice Owens and Dell Franklin. Survivors include his devoted wife of 55 years, Helen Grice; one son, Craig Grice and wife Donna; one daughter, Brenda Grice Larrabee and husband Toby all of Sneads; one brother, Ray Grice and wife Lilla of Sneads; two sister, Ethel Chance of Pensacola, Sherilon Hamilton of Sneads; three grandchildren, Brad Hoy, Caitlin Wilson and Lane Grice; one great grandson Tanner; one brother-in-law, Leon Franklin of Pensacola; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 11 am Monday, December 21,2009 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Maddox Chapel. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice of Marianna, 4440 Lafayette Street., Suite C, Marianna, Florida 32446.
