Inez Marie Lipford

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 Inez Marie Lipford, 69, of Marianna died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at The Medical Center in Dothan. She was a woman of strength, courage, and determination. Her love for children showed through her dedication of work with the Jackson County School Board for over 40 years and she was a devoted foster parent for 30 plus years. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Holly Grove Free Will Baptist Church and a life long servant of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lipford, Sr. in 1985. Survivors include four sons, Willie Lipford, Jr., and wife, Sandra of Alford, Donald Ray Lipford and wife, Nina, Danny Lipford and wife, Varonica, Michael Lipford, all of Marianna; two brothers, Bo Baker of Chipley, Lewis Baker of Macon, GA.; four sisters, Inell Reeves, Illeta Tadlock and Irene Lipford all of Chipley, Imogene Jordan of Marianna; 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchidren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Holly Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Marianna with Pastor Buzz Kirby officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Holly Grove Free Will Baptist, 2699 Hwy. 73 South, Marianna, FL.
