Inez Ledger

Inez Gilbourne Leger, 93, of Greenwood died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Jackson Hospital. A native of Parramore, Mrs. Ledger had resided in Greenwood for many years and attended Welcome Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ode and Cordelia Jackson Basford, 2 brothers, Aubrey and Nathan Basford; 2 sisters, Ruby Banks and Beatrice Mitchell. Survivors include her husband, Alsa Leger of Greenwood; 1 daughter, Mary Ann Robinson and husband Robert of Muncie, In.; 2 sisters, Estelle Vickery of Blountstown and Sue Robinson of St. Petersburg; 1 granddaughter, Rebecca Robinson of Austin, Tx.; 1 grandson, Samuel Robinson and wife, Julie of Indianapolis, In.; 1 great grandson, Hudson Robert Robinson of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will conducted 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Welcome Assembly of God Church with Rev. Thomas Batts officiating, burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, north of Panama City at 1:00 p.m.. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will be directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Maddox Chapel.
