Richards, 86, of Sneads died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County. Mrs. Richards was a homemaker and a member of Salem Wesleyan Church near Sneads. Preceded in death by her husband, Fernie Richards and sons, Rex and Randal Richards. She is survived by four sons, Ernie Richards and wife, Carla, of St. George, GA., Arthur Richards and wife, Maxine, of Sneads, Fl., Donald Richards of Blountstown, Troy Richards of Panama City; five grandchildren, Rickey Richards, and wife Sharon, Steven, Sylvia, James Richards, Gina Hicks, and husband, Everett; six great-grandchildren, Shane Jones, Katelin, Sarah & Fernie Richards, Tara & Anna Hicks; one brother, Grady McKinnie of Cocoa Beach, Fl.; one sister, Ruby McMillian, of Marianna; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Salem Wesleyan Church near Sneads with Revs. Jack Howell & Sam Swinney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12 at Salem Wesleyan Church, 2764 Salem Church Road Sneads. www.jamesandsikesfuneralhomes.com
