She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, and working and helping with the sick. Mrs. Shores was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Mack and a son, Buell. Survivors include two sons, Marion Shores and wife Wilma, of Wewahitchka; Kenny Shores of Alford; one brother, James Mayo and wife Frances of Havana; granddaughter, Sabrina Trumbull and husband, Billy; great grandchildren, Todd and Dustin Taylor; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 24 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Rev. Dennis Olson officiating. Burial will follow in White Pond Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
