Neel, 81, of Port St. Joe died Sunday, December 12, 2010 in Port St. Joe. He retired from St. Joe Phone Company after 30 years of service. Mr. Neel was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthie Neel in 2003. Survivors include two sons, Wayne Neel and wife, Fonda of Tallahassee, Virgal Neel and wife, Debbie of Beacon Hill; extended family Linda Freeman of Port St. Joe. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. David Fernandez officiating. Interment will follow in Vickery Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Homes Maddox Chapel directing.
