Herman F. Todd

Herman F. Todd, 75, of Malone died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at his resident. A native of Chambers Co., Al. Mr. Todd was a former resident of Sopchoppy and had resided in Malone for the past seven years. He was a member of Collins Chapel Baptist Church where he led the singing and served as a Deacon. He was a dedicated student and teacher of the Bible. Mr. Todd retired from the City of Atlanta MARTA System, He was ad advid fisherman and an Atlanta sports fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Beatrice Lamb Todd. Survivors include his wife, Tharon Kay Todd of Malone; two sons, David Todd and wife Lynn of Grantsville, Ga., Brian Todd and wife Sarah of Covington, Ga.; one daughter, Mindy Thompson and husband Tony of Franklin, Ga.; two sisters, Ann T. Hornsby of Cuba, Al. and Jill Robinson of Fayetteville, Ga.; four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 3 pm, Wednesday, July 1 ,2009 at Collins Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Collins Chapel Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 2 pm til funeral time at Collins Chapel Baptist Church. If desired, in lieu of flowers, contributions maybe made to the Collins Chapel Baptist Church, 6408 Americus Road, Marianna, Florida 32446."
