Herman P. (Pal) Guy Sr., 83, of Marianna, FL went to his heavenly home on October 16th with his loved ones surrounding him.
Herman was born in headland, Alabama on July 11, 1934. Herman worked at Sunland in Marianna until his retirement. He was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church where he served for many years on the Board of Trustees and as Head Deacon.
Herman is survived by his two sons, Joel and wife Kay Guy. Herman Guy Jr. One brother, Dempsey Guy, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Herman is preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Dan and Mrs. Grady Belle Guy.
Funeral services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church on Thursday, October 19, at 2 PM with Rev. Jim Harbert officiating. Visitation will be held 1 PM until time of service. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James and Sikes Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel directing.
