Henry Angus "Bubba" Faircloth

Henry Angus "Bubba" Faircloth, 67, of Sneads, Florida passed away December 8, 2015.

Bubba was born September 18, 1948, in Chattahoochee, Florida to the late Henry and Ruby Faircloth. He was a life-long resident of Sneads. Bubba graduated from Sneads High School in 1968 and attended Chipola College. He joined the United States Army in 1970 where he served a tour of duty in Vietnam. Bubba worked for over 17 years with the Florida Department of Corrections and retired as a Fire Marshal with the State of Florida after an additional 14 years of service. He enjoyed attending Chipola basketball games, watching Nascar races, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his sisters: Kathryn Ranew, Louise Hamm, Dorothy Allman, Evelyn Widner, Ruth Moulton, Beth Faircloth, and Bonnie Hart and brothers: Al McDaniel, Jim McDaniel, and Willie Faircloth.

Survivors include one daughter, Nicole and husband, Josh Trafton of Tallahassee; two grandchildren, Madison and Jonathan Trafton of Tallahassee; one brother, Felix Faircloth of Greensboro and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at Inwood Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in Pope Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
