James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Helen C. Williams, 82, of Greenwood died Monday, June 20, 2011at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County she was a educator for many years with the Jackson County School System. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, James Grady Williams in 1982; her daughter, Carol J. Pardue in 2008 Survivors include two sons, Charles Willliams and wife, Angel, and Bruce Williams and wife, Diana all of Greenwood; four grandchildren, James Pardue, Matthew Pardue, Mack Williams and Deborah Williams Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Greenwood Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
