Hazel Elaine Hill

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Mrs. Hazel Elaine Hill of Demorest, GA, formally of Marianna, FL, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 after a brief illness. She was 85. Mrs. Hill was born in Dale County, Alabama to the late William Harvey Tharpe and Leona Henderson Tharpe. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Hill; an infant son; one sister and three brothers. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Francis Surovec; son and daughter-in-law, Hilton and Cindy Hill, all of Cleveland, GA; granddaughter Lauren Hill of Clyde, NC and grandson Jordon Hill of Tampa, FL. one brother also survives. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 2 PM at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Bobby Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Family will receive friends Monday, March 3, 2014 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
