Hazel Frederick

Hazel Frederick, 92 of Sneads, Florida passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 at Jackson Hospital. Ms. Hazel was born in Kings Mountain, NC on January 22, 1918. As a ministers wife, she along with her husband, the late Rev. John Victor "Vic" Frederick, Jr. served churches throughout Florida and North Carolina for over 40 years. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her two daughters Vickie Thompson and husband Stewart of Sommerset, KY, Kaye Stephens and husband Gerald of Sneads, FL, sister Betty Hoyle of Kings Mountain, NC; five grandchildren Scott Edwards (Cheree'), Buddy Edwards(Kelly), Todd Stephens(Angie), Jan Quigley(Scott), Kevin Powell; six great grandchildren Lane Edwards, Ashlyn Edwards, Kyle Edwards, Brandon Edwards, Lindsey Harper(J.T.), Steven Quigley, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Sneads with Rev. Robert Johns officiating. Interment will follow in Dykes Cemetery with James & Sikes, Maddox Chapel directing. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, October 25, 2010 at Maddox Chapel.
