Hattie Iola Johnson

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Hattie Iola (Pat) Johnson, 85, of Marianna, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 1, 2012, after an extended illness. Mrs. Johnson was born on October 22, 1927 in Malone and lived most of her life in Marianna where she was a homemaker. Pat was a devoted member of Trinity Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Henry G. (Bob) Johnson; her great granddaughter, Allison Taylor Cabrera; her parents, Dewey and Bessie Cannady; and siblings, Hazel Moore, Thomas Cannady, Bobby Cannady and Junior Cannady. She is survived by her only daughter, Patricia Cabrera and son-in-law, Otto Cabrera of Marianna; three grandchildren: Maurice Cabrera and his wife, Suzanne, of West Palm Beach; Regina (Gigi) Kettering and her husband, David, of Lynn Haven and Christopher Cabrera of Gainesville; and five great grandchildren: Christina, Kathryn and Carissa Kettering of Lynn Haven and Rachel and Alex Cabrera of West Palm Beach; and her sister, Mae Kummer and her husband, Rick, of Sunny Hills. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. CST at Trinity Baptist Church in Marianna with Rev. Roland Rabon officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will direct. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
