Harvey Nelson

Harvey Nelson, 69, of Sneads died Monday, September 18, 2006 at Tallahassee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Nelson was a native of Chipley, had resided in Sneads for the past 40 years, was a U. S. Army Veteran, a heavy equipment operator, was of the Holiness Faith and loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bea and Aggie Mae Melvin Nelson. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Donna Faye Nelson of Sneads, 6 children, Gregory Nelson and wife Lauvern of Midway, Mac Weeks and wife Lavon, Chip Weeks and wife Tonya, Adrian Weeks and wife Kayla, Pam Roberts of Sneads and Tammy Bear of Chattahoochee; 2 brothers; 4 sisters, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Emmanuel Holiness Church with Bro. Jerome Lewis and Sister Eva Howell officiating, burial will follow at Sand Ridge Cemetery. James & Sikes Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel directing. The Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 19, 2006 from 5 to 7 pm at Sneads Chapel.
