Harmon Ellis Arnold, 87, of Malone went to be with his Lord on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna.
Mr. Arnold lived his entire life in Malone. He was retired from Sunland Center where he worked security. After retirement he enjoyed gardening and sharing with friends and neighbors. He was a life-long member of Friendship Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sheldon and Verna Mae Arnold; a son, Randall Arnold; and ex-wife, the mother of his children, Joyce Arnold.
Survivors include two sons; Leonard Arnold of Fort Walton Beach and Dennis Arnold (Becky) of Greenwood; three daughters, Becky Hatcher (Hilton) of Bascom, Debbie Millwood (James) of Greenwood, and Melissa Harrell of Malone; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren with one due in April. He is also survived by many numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at Friendship Baptist Church in Malone with Dr. Shawn Buice and Ronald Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Friendship Baptist Church in Malone.
