She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County. and of the Baptist faith, Mrs. Weeks was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Ida Tyus Cloud, her loving husband, C.L. Weeks, Sr.; a daughter, Carnell Weeks Bateman; a son William Davis Weeks, Sr.; grandsons, William and Billy Love and great-granddaughter, Patricia Love. Survivors include four daughters, Mary Lou Sinner of Sneads; Mable Alday & husband David of Marianna; Ruby Lee Love of Two Egg and Nita Fay Ledbetter of Marianna; one son, Charles L. Weeks and wife Betty of Two Egg; 20 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 24, at 10 a.m. at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Wesleyan Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 23, 6-8 p.m at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
