James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Grace Tharpe Purvis, 103, of Marianna died Monday, January 16, 2012 in Marianna. She was a native of Washington County, a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Gene Purvis and wife, Polly of Marianna; three grandchildren, Nena Purvis Dols, Julia Purvis and Mark Purvis. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Roland Rabon officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. directing. Family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
