Gloria Grace Reed

Gloria Grace Reed, 76, of Marianna died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Jackson Hospital. A native and former resident of Chicago, ILL., Mrs. Reed had resided in Jackson County for the past 22 years. She was an avid bowler and bingo player and a former employee of Big Lots. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Freida Gortz Guth. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Richard Reed of Marianna; two sons, Jim Reed and wife Kim of Marianna, Steve Reed and wife Amy of Englewood, FL; two brothers, William Guth of Marianna and Raymond Guth of Sebring, FL.; two sisters, Joan Jensen and Betty Gibson both of Sneads; six grandchildren, Richie, Lane, Brandon, Kelci, Gavin and Ryan. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday, March17, 2013 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Sister Frances Dudley officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Maddox Chapel.
