Gloria Elaine Fondo

Gloria Elaine Fondo, 80 of Graceville, Florida passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. Gloria was born on June 15, 1929 in Highland Falls, New York moving to Graceville in 1992 from Port Salerno, Florida. She was a beloved mother/grandmother and friend, who loved crafts, gardening, cooking and most of all to make others smile! Preceded in death by her husband Michael, two sisters Elsie and Winnie. She is survived by her daughter Clara Blakeslee & husband Duke of Graceville; four sons Jesse Smith and wife Jan of Mystic, CT.; Michael D. Fondo, Jr. of Basalt, CO; Anthony J. Fondo of Esto, FL; Frederick G. Fondo and wife Sheila of Graceville; brother Gordon B. Douglas of Springfield, MO; three sisters Annette Bush, Mae Curry of Port Salerno, Ruth Maxwell of Cairo, GA; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; special friends Winnie Thompson, Martha McVey and Lynn Murray.
