Gloria Helen Enfinger

March 13, 1929 — March 10, 2008

Gloria Helen Gause Enfinger passed away March 13, 2008, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born March 13, 1929, to Addis E. and Dora R. Gause, and lived in the Magnolia Community until they "moved to town" so that she could attend Marianna High School. Gloria graduated from MHS in 1947 and married Hulon H. Enfinger in 1949. A life-long bookkeeper, most of her professional career was spent working at Hinson Insurance Agency. In her free time, she enjoyed making Christmas ornaments and completing her family's genealogy. Gloria was a member of the First Baptist Church where she sang in the Adult Choir for more than 40 years and taught the 4-year-old Sunday School Class for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hulon, and long-time companion and friend, Nat Lee, and survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Rudy Massengill of Atlanta; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Debra Enfinger of Tallahassee; grandchildren, Lee and Andrew Massengill of Atlanta, Matt Enfinger of Tallahassee and Morgan Woodlief of Orlando; one brother, Carlos Gause of Nephi, Utah. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm CST Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Johns and Rev. Huw Christopher officiating with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm CST Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Maddox Chapel. In lieu of Flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Covenant Hospice or the First Baptist Church."
