Giacomina "Jackie" Rogers, age 95, of Grand Ridge, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Courtyard Healthcare. She was born April 12, 1928, to Alessandro and Mariantonia Russo in Minori, Italy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Alfonso, Paulo, Tony, Gildo; three sisters, Rosina, Anna, Lucia; her husbands, Ralph John Delgrego and Howard Rogers; her daughter, Anna McKinnie (Jerry); and one granddaughter, Kimberly.
Giacomina is survived by two sisters, Trofimena Bonito of Branford, CT, and Barbara Reale (Gaetano) of Minori, Italy; one son, Anthony DelGrego (Evelyn) of Hamden, CT; four grandchildren, Glenn McKinnie, Michael DelGrego (Carol), Danielle Payne (Matthew), Warren McKinnie (Kathy); as well as two God sent granddaughters, Dwanna Davis, and Kristie Rabon (Kenny); also survived by eight great-grandchildren, Sidna (fiancé, Matthew), Mikaelin (Spencer), Kensi, Lucas, Gabrielle, Gavin, Chaison (Becca), and Shayla; and one great-great granddaughter, Carolynn Ann.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, January 12, 2024, at Welcome Assembly of God Church with Rev. Steven Subel officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Chattahoochee, Florida with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Welcome Assembly of God Church. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Welcome Assembly of God Church.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of the Courtyard for taking care of our Noni.
