James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel George Lee "Cowboy" Williams, 78, of Malone went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard. George was born in Malone where he had lived most of his life. He worked at Lehigh for 44 years and retired as the Varnishing Department Supervisor. George attended Antioch Assembly of God Church in Grangeburg, AL. He Loved fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth "Tiny" Williams; his parents, Oncus and Netta Bell West Williams. He is survived by one daughter, Georgia A. Williams Granger and husband, Ashley of Marianna; one step-daughter, Carrie Nunnery Green and husband, Don of Bainbridge, GA; one daughter-in-law, Roxanne Williams of Malone; one brother, Bobby Williams and wife, Rosalyn of Houston, TX; two sisters, Vermell Baxter and husband, Titus and Joyce Griffin all of Appling, GA; six grandchildren, Kris Williams and wife, Victoria, Maddyson Granger, Kaitlyn Williams, Ashtyn Granger and Peyton and Haley Green of Bainbridge; one great- grandchild, Brandon Williams. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 4th, 2015 at Antioch Assembly of God Church in Grangeburg, AL with Rev. Stephen Peacock officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 3rd, 2015 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
