George E. "Gator" Spindler

George E. " Gator" Spindler, 59, of Marianna, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, in Marianna at Jackson Hospital. He was a native of Pierson, Fl,. Survivors includes his son, George N. Spindler, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; two brothers, John Spindler of Pierson, Raymond D. Spindler of Albany, Ga; two sisters, Betty Adkison and husband, Alcus of Marianna, Annette Parsons and husband Rick of DeLand. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. EST Monday, May 7, 2007 at The Church Of God Of Prophecy in Pierson, Fl. with Revs. Alcus Adkison & Carl Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in The Methodist Cemetery in Pierson with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in Marianna, FL directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday, May 4, at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel
