George Charles Mccoy

George Charles McCoy, Sr. 66, of Marianna died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. A native and life long resident of Jackson County, Mr. McCoy was a member of the Evangel Worship Center Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lucile Sullivan McCoy and a brother James McCoy. Survivors include; two sons, George McCoy and Wife Laura, Thomas McCoy and Wife Dianne all of Marianna; Three brothers, Troy McCoy ; John McCoy and wife Margie all of Marianna; Edward McCoy and wife Pat of Grand Ridge; five sisters, Muriel Martin of Georgia, Shirley Yates and companion Byron Babbs of Freeport, Durcile Hagan and husband Willis of Wausau, Sheryl Boone and husband J.R. and Julianne Martin all of Marianna; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Evangel Worship Center Assembly of God Church with Rev. Lavon Pettis officiating, burial will follow at Dykes Cemetery south of Marianna with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
