Gale was born January 4, 1959 to Ralph and Eloise Daniels. The first baby of the new year. Gale was a lifelong resident of Grand Ridge and a member of Welcome Assembly of God Church in Dellwood. Gale fought a brave courageous battle with leukemia. Heaven is her new home. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her son, Justin Hurst, and wife, Sherry of Grand Ridge; two sisters, Sandra Riggsbee, and her husband Jim of North Augusta, S.C., Kaye Williams, and her husband Buddy of Marianna; four grandchildren; special cousin and best friend, Phyllis Bailey. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 12 at Welcome Assembly of God Church with Dr. Thomas Batts and Rev. Dewey Meyers officiating. Burial will follow in Welcome Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
