Mr. Rogers was a truck driver for Charles Patterson Trucking and was Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by Timothy Wayne Smith. Survivors include his wife, Dottie Smith Rogers, two step-sons, Patrick Capps and wife Christina, Charles Thurman and wife Teresa, all of Marianna; four sisters, Lisa Burtof and husband Bill of Chipley, Selina Morris, Susie O'Bryan and husband Russell and a special sister Tracy Smith all of Marianna, and eight grandchildren; three special nephews, Robert C. Ham, Hunter Smith and Skyler Smith all of Marianna. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m, Friday, August 20, 2010 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Cypress Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 19th, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
