McIntosh, 96 of Graceville (Poplar Springs Community) passed away Monday, July 23, 2007 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Lampp officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home directing. Family will receive friends at Bethel Baptist Church, Wednesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or those wishing may make memorials to Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund 1349 Hwy. 173 Graceville, Florida 32440. Mr. Fred was born April 9, 1911 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Martie E. and Lula Clark McIntosh. Mr. Fred was a farmer and for over 20 years he was a bus driver and a time keeper for Poplar Springs High School. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where he has served as Sunday School Superintendent, Training Director, Song Leader, adult men and young adult men Sunday School Teacher and served as a deacon for over 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Ruth McIntosh; son & daughter-in-law, Freddie & Dianne McIntosh; daughter & son-in-law, Joe Ann & Bob Price all of Graceville; brother, James H. "Mack" McIntosh and wife Genevieve; half-sister, Evelyn Harville and husband Bud all of Pensacola; half-brother, Rex Spivey of Okeechobee; seven grandchildren, Adam McIntosh, Stacey McIntosh, Matt & Susan McIntosh, Bill & Sita Price, Scott Price, Janie & Chris Flack, Joanna Price; thirteen great grandchildren.
