Forrester, 60, of Malone died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Malone, lived most of his life in Jackson County. He was employed with Sunland Center for a number of years and dry wall construction for over 20 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Forrester and his father, James P. Forrester. Survivors include his mother, El Lena C. Ferguson of Marianna; sons, James P. Forrester of Malone, Shannon Kinsey of Huntsville, North Carolina; brothers, Bobby Forrester and Wayne Forrester both of Sneads; his favorite sister-in-law, Lanette Forrester of Sneads; one sister, Annie Ruth Forrester DeSerio of Bergen, New York; two grandchildren, Shay and Brielle Kinsey and several nieces. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27 at Maddox Chapel with Pastor John W. Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery in Malone with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
