Jones, 94, of Marianna died Tuesday, June 6, 2006 in Marianna. She was a native of Evergreen, Al., a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by her husband of over 61 years, Carl A. Jones, Sr.; two daughters, Carolyn Nelson & Anita Louise Jones; one son, Carl A. Jones, Jr., one grandson, Chris Jackson. Survivors include two daughters Barbara Parker of Bushnell, Betty Norton and husband Nick of Mandeville, La.; two sisters, Thelma Green of New Mexico, Ann Smith of Birmingham; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Funeral servcies will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 9, at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Chester Padgett officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will be directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel. "
