Evia Davis Mccroan

Evia Davis McCroan, 93, died Monday, December 31, 2007 in Marianna. A native of Altha, Mrs. McCroan had resided in Marianna. Ms McCroan was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest McCroan and her parents, Richard and Margaret Ada Hester Davis. Survivors include her son, Ernest "E J" McCroan and wife, Myra of Bell Glade; three daughters, Maxine Wester and husband, John of Marianna, Violet Seay of Tallahassee, Lucy White and husband, William of Marianna; two sisters, Eva Hansford of Altha and Vonelle Sowell of Port St. Joe; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Tommy McCroan officiating, burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery near Altha with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
