James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Everett Poole, 85, of Dellwood, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at Jackson Hospital. He was born in Houston County, Alabama, lived most of his life in Jackson County. He served in the U S Army. He worked as a self-Employed Diesel Mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Lois Poole; his son, Wayne Poole and wife, Wanda, of Dellwood; grandchildren, Shannon Lollie, Michelle Powell, Joy Martin, Everett Wayne Poole, Jr.,; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Welcome Assembly of God Church with Jack Howell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
