She was born June 12, 1921 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She always told many fond memories of living with her family up north. She also loved a man in uniform and thus married one on February 4, 1941 at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has resided in Jackson County since 1942 and was a homemaker, and of United Pentecostal Faith. She loved church, the beach, cooking, reading, but most of all she loved her family. She was feisty and full of wisdom, humor, and love. Our Angel on Earth was loved and cherished all the days of her life and will continue to be loved, cherished, & missed for the rest of ours. She was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth Francis Holland, and William Joseph Holland, husband Pruitt C.Castleberry, son Eugene T.Castleberry, grandson Daniel T. Castleberry, brother William J. Holland, sister Virginia Rolf, and nephew William J. Holland III. She is survived by four sons, William & wife Treva Castlberry, Pruitt and Sandra Castleberry, Daniel and wife Judy Castleberry, John Castleberry, two daughters Dorothy Teems, and Elizabeth and husband Billy Hill, daughter-in-law Catherine "Jill" Castleberry, all of Jackson County. Grandchildren, Dearest granddaughter Stephanie Castleberry, Aric, Michael, Amanda, Christopher, Kimberly & Charity Castleberry, Toni Stout, Matthew Helms, Henry Teems, Jennifer Wagner, Danny & David Sutton, & Gail Cox . Great grandchildren, Hunter, Aiden, & Landon Wagner, Dylan & Alex Edwards, Julian & Lance Castleberry, Parker & Paton Castleberry, Stacy & Crystalynn Castleberry, Ashely, Amber & Aricka Castleberry. Great-great grandchildren Riley, Rhett, Tori, & Aaron Castleberry, many cousins, neices, nephews, dear friends Ruby McMillian & Betty Shade. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 27, from 1-2 p.m. at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. Memorization will be by cremation. www.jamesandsikesfuneralhomes.com
