Eugene Travis Castleberry

Eugene Travis Castleberry, 63, of Marianna died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at his residents. A native and life long resident of Jackson County, Mr. Castleberry was a U. S. Army veteran, retired employee of the Dozier School and a member of the Word of Truth Church in Blountstown. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Castleberry and his father, Pruitt Castleberry, Sr.. Survivors include his wife, Jill Castleberry of Marianna; a daughter Charity Castleberry of Eufaula, Al; three grandchildren, Julian Castleberry and Lance Castleberry both of Ft. Walton Beach and Parker Tyre of Eufaula; his mother, Evelyn Castleberry of Marianna; four brothers, Daniel Castleberry and wife Judy, Pruitt Castleberry, Jr. and wife Sandra, Johnny Castleberry all of Marianna, William Castleberry and Treva of Altha; two sisters, Elizabeth Hill and husband Billy of Graceville, Dorothy Teems of Marianna; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Ron Baker officiating, burial will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Snead American Legion Post 241, James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
