She was born in Iron City, GA. lived most of her life in Jackson County. She was a homemaker and the oldest living member of El Bethel Assembly of God Church in Grand Ridge. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Gilley. Survived by four sons, Willie Paul Gilley of Greenwood, Jack Glen Gilley, Ernest Gilley both of Grand Ridge, Jimmy Gilley of Sneads; three daughters, Emmalene Overby of Pulski, MS., Ann Gilley of Kinsey, AL., Helen O'Pry of Hartford, TN.; one sister, Ruby Swindle of Jacksonville; 38 grandchildren, 100 great-grandchildren, a host of great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at El Bethel Assembly of God Church with Revs. Jack Howell and Michael Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Dykes Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends MOnday, September 29, from 5-7 p.m. at El Bethel.
