He was born June 5, 1940 in Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Amelia Hogan, and a sister, Hazel Myers. He is survived by wife Pam Dease; one son, Donl Dease and Lora Dease of Orlando, FL; one daughter, Yvette Dease, of Weatherford, TX; three step-kids, Rorbert and Debbie Gordon of Orlando, FL, Nadine and Bobby Coffman of Marianna, and Gary Hamlin of Topeka, KS; eight grand kids, Ashleigh Dease, Ryan Dease, Cody Gordon, Robin Gordon, Natalie Coffman, Nathan Coffman, Elizabeth Hamlin, and Nikki Dease; three great-grandchildren, and was retired from Winn-Dixie after working 26 years and was currently employed with Fillups Oil Co., formerly Super-C in west Marianna. A viewing will be held and the family will receive friends on Saturday, August 29, from 5-7 p.m. at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. A private burial will follow at a later time in Lipford Cemetery.
