Eric Kent Meyer

Eric Kent Meyer, 48, of Marianna died Friday, November 21, 2008 at his home. A native of Monticello, IL., Mr. Meyer had resided in Jackson County for the past 6 years and was a Lieutenant with FCI Marianna. He attended Christian Center Church in Marianna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale Lewis Meyer and Anna Christine Foster Poling and a brother, Curtis Dale Meyer. Survivors include his wife, Lynne Marie Meyer; two sons, Nicholas Wendall and Christopher Harm Meyer both of Marianna; one sister, Christi Anne Heck and husband, Quincy of Ormond Beach. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Christian Center Church in Marianna with Jack Hollis and Gino Mayo officiating. Burial will be in Monticello, Illinois in Monticello Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 24, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
