Emory Ralph Singletary Jr.

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Emory Ralph Singletary, Jr. 76, of Marianna passed away Sunday February 5, 2012 at Jackson Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County. He was an avid Gator football fan. He also liked all other sports. Mr. Singletary worked for Singletary Florist for 25 years where he was a co-owner, Sunland Training Center for 20 years and Milton Mini Storage for 18 years. Preceded in death by parents Emory Ralph, Sr. and Margaret Dekle Singletary, and one brother, John Wayne Singletary. He is survived by one son, Emory Singletary III and wife Susie of Lynn Haven; one daughter, Donna Maria Piermatteo and husband Mike; four grandchildren, Ryan and Amanda Singletary, Kelli and Sarah Piermatteo; two great-grand sons, Noah Stewart and Levi Singletary. Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday February 8, 2012 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Roland Rabon officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice at 700 W. 23rd St. Panama City, FL 32405.
