She was born to Felix and Maggie Ingram on March 23, 1930. She was of Pentecostal faith. She and the late J.C. "Buck" Hill was the founders of Hill's Group Home since 1974. She loved cooking for family and taking care of people with disabilities. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, late husband J.C. "Buck" Hill, brother Osie Ingram, son-in-laws Joseph Marion Floyd Jr., and Bill Barber, and her in-laws Charlie and Flora Hill. She is survived by her husband Donald E. Hill, one son Charles A. Hill and wife Linda of Tallahassee, two daughters Gwen Floyd-Folsom and husband Kenny, and Shirlene Barrentine and husband Marshall all of Marianna, two step-daughters Sharon Barber, and Sheila Hill of Cottondale. Three sisters Georgia Fussell and late husband Ed of Mt. Dora, FL., Violet Cupp and husband Danny of Tallahassee and Magdalene Sarvis and husband David of Lake Wells, FL. She leaves the love of her life, her grandchildren, Joey Floyd (Teresa), Tracy Barrentine (Stephanie), Chip Caruthers, Jamie Barrentine (Tammy), Jeremy Floyd (Holly), Adam Hill (Teri), Melissa Sweeney (Greg), Dink Barber (Carla). And her great-grandchildren, Brett Floyd, Chase Duckworth, Casey Dauphin, Grayson Barrentine, Landon Caruthers, Tori, Brooke and Colin Barrentine, Emily and Kimber Floyd, Darbey and Dustyn Sweeney, Michael Mayo and Madelyn Barber. One foster child Anthony Hill. Five special young men she raised as her own. Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday February 8th at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. Funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 9th at James and Sikes Funeral Home with Rev. William Walker and Walker McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. James and Sikes Funeral Home- Maddox Chapel will be in charge of services.
