Elsie A. Hinson, 76, of Sneads, FL died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
A native of Blountstown, FL, Mrs. Hinson had resided in Jackson for the past 53 years. She was a home maker and an active member of Welcome Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Clarence and Allie Mae Alday. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Tallice Hinson; two sons, Eugene Hinson and wife Connie, Ted Hinson and wife Marti; one daughter, Shelia Duncan and husband Nick; one brother, Carey Alday and wife Hilda; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one adopted grandchild, Chris Quattlebaum and wife, Jessyka and one sister-in-law Patricia Ann Mordes.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at Welcome Assembly of God Church with Dr. Thomas Batts and Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Welcome Assembly of God Church, 6794 Messer Rd, Grand Ridge, FL.
